INTENTIONAL MAGIC

By: Jamiel

Yes, it’s true,
The power in you,
For use without condition.
In word and deed
Use this tiny seed,
Bring desire to fruition.

To achieve your dreams,
Even though it seems,
The deck is stacked against you.
Just realize,
What lies inside,
The results will convince you.

You would be wise
To visualize,
The thing your heart desires.
But have no doubt,
You could live without,
This thing you would require.

If you would pray,
What would you say,
If you speak with a Higher Power?
Have the attitude,
Of gratitude.
Conviction lifts it higher.

And don’t you fear
What God will hear
When secret words you utter.
S/he will feel
What you can’t conceal
S/he loves you like no other.

You can anticipate
To participate
In promises of abundance
Make you intentions clear
And your words sincere
Not flattering redundance

To receive
Simply believe
The man Jesus gave example
Proof can be seen
In Matthew 8:13
Read on
Evidence is ample

When you achieve
What you wish to receive
For outcome not to be tragic
Don't ever stop there
It behooves you to share
The results of Intentional Magic

Consider yourself warned
To do no harm
To yourself sister or brother
For deep inside
Where soul knowledge resides
Each is one or the other

Karma is real
One cannot conceal
Coveting committed in fun
Spirit shows
What soul knows
Justice is done for everyone

KARMA

By Jamiel

Are you the judge, that settled the grudge
Twixt me and my back shot brother,
He who stole a kiss, and raped my miss
When I could love no other.
Did I see you smile at my trial,
And is this our payment day?

Are you that queen, that came between
Her son and his little dancer?
Who wanted her head, took her babe instead,
With slavery the final answer.
Do you dread, memories in your head
Revenge, your spirit’s cancer.

Are you the slave, with the mulatto babe
Who was rejected by her lover?
Did you pine and refuse to dine
When he loved and married another?
When you died, babe at your side.
The baby for want of her mother.

Were you perhaps, the Egyptian chap
Who sacrificed the acolyte
Were the tables turned when you were burned
In the following Aztec life?
Is it our destinies to be enemies
For motives ever so trite?

Must we ever yearn, will we never learn
To just deal with what is
Will our hurts be eased, or never be pleased
For as many lives as we live
Maybe it is all a dream, rowing life’s stream
Until we can say no to the quiz.

Do I know you? Do I owe you?
What have you to say?
It’s not so little, this jot and tittle
I am told that I must pay
Do you know me? Do you owe me?
Is this our payment day?

THINK

By: Jamiel

As a ‘man ‘ thinketh, so is he
That is what we have heard.
As a woman thinketh who is she?
And whose is the final word?

Does ‘man’ mean species or gender?
What was GOD’s intent?
Did ‘S/HE’ give us this puzzle to ponder?
Or is this what ‘man’ has meant?

If ‘man’ has translated what GOD has said
How do we know what’s true?
Since ‘man’ did translate what GOD has said
What is a woman to do?

‘Man’ is ‘made in GOD’s image’.
Straight forward that would seem.
Or has ‘man’ made GOD in his image
With all that it would mean.

Is GOD really such a vengeful cuss?
As jealous as we are told?
How can ‘S/HE’ treat HIS/HER creations thus?
How can ‘S/HE’ be so cold?

Did God create these things in us
To do with what we can?
How can we be better than our creator.
That is not the ‘dominion of man’

“Male and Female created he them”,
That’s what the good book says.
Did “S/HE” mean as separate,
Or that which each of us is?
